About Camp Agape Sponsor
At Camp Agape Hawaiʻi, our mission is to bring hope, love, faith, and mentorship to children whose parents are incarcerated.
For 20 years, we have been dedicated to walking alongside these young people, offering guidance, encouragement, unconditional love, and a community that believes in their future.
Our cornerstone program, Camp Agape, is more than an annual four-day retreat. It is a safe and welcoming place where children ages 7–17 can experience acceptance, healing, friendship, faith, and the transformative power of positive relationships.
But camp is only the beginning. Mentorship continues the relationship throughout the year. Through our year-round mentorship program, weekly gatherings, quarterly events, life-skills activities, and other opportunities, we continue to nurture, encourage, and empower our Angels and their families.
In 2026, Camp Agape Hawaiʻi celebrates 20 years of changing lives and breaking cycles. Every milestone is a testament to the resilience of these incredible young people, the dedication of our volunteers, and the generosity of a community that believes in hope, second chances, and brighter futures.

We serve children and families in some of Hawaiʻi’s highest-risk and underserved communities.
CHANGE
80% of children with an incarcerated parent are likely to follow in their footsteps. For 20 years, Camp Agape Hawaiʻi has worked to change that trajectory. Of the more than 2,000 children we have served, less than 10% have gone on to repeat the cycle of incarceration.
